Productivity Rhythm helps you organize your day by creating a schedule that suits you. It also tracks your progress. So you can see how good you are at achieving your goals.
So what about my productivity rhythm?
For the last two months, I have been able to work more efficiently than I have for a long time. Honestly, I’ve never taken a vacation. I haven’t been on vacation for a long time anyway, but in the last two months, I’ve worked non-stop, even on the weekends.
In recent years, I have had focusing problems, which has caused procrastination. I was starting to get over it by struggling somehow when I went on a 1-day trip with a friend. I postponed my work because we were on the road that day and the next day. And it happened. The rhythm is lost.
It showed me that I had to go a long way toward working productively.
I decided to follow these steps regarding the productivity rhythm.
Creating a Schedule
The productivity rhythm allows you to create a schedule according to your needs. So I can choose between two different programs: Daily and Weekly. Each has its benefits.
Daily schedule
This option will give me more flexibility as you can adjust your tasks as you progress. However, it will be more problematic to plan the week.
Weekly schedule
With this option, I will be able to plan the week. I’ll still need to adjust my schedule as needed, but I won’t have to worry about forgetting anything.
Adding an Activity
After deciding what to do each day, I should add activities to my calendar. If I’m planning to work on something at home, I have to make sure I add the necessary equipment, too.
Reviewing the Schedule
Every morning before I start my day, I have to review my schedule. It will allow me to see how much time I have left to complete the tasks and set priorities accordingly.
Managing Time Better
The productivity rhythm will help me better manage my time by allowing me to create a daily plan and track my progress. It will also provide tips and tricks to help me stay organized and productive throughout the day.
>> There is a tutorial on LinkedIn. I haven’t had a chance to review it yet, but anyone can take a look.
I will try to make my productivity rhythm permanent by following these steps strictly. My recent experience has shown me how fragile my work schedule is when I have a productivity problem for a long time.
